A touch of blue, pink, and yellow hues sprinkled with silver-like sugar.
Yes, indeed, sweet as candy is what I describe my nails. I just love the color combination and it looks sweet in the eyes.
This is my first nail art where I used the "sponge technique". This technique is all over the internet especially in Youtube and it really is as easy as it looks. The colors blend naturally on my almond-shaped nails.
I am using nail products that are cheap but good quality since popular brands such as Zoya, O.P.I., Essie, and the likes are rarely found where I'm from. This locally made brands though did not disappoint me. It still produces perfect vivid colors.
THE NAIL ARTThe materials are:
1. Base coat
2. Top coat
3. Blue, Pink, and Yellow polish
4. Silver glitter polish
5. Angled cosmetic sponge
6. Nail polish remover
7. Cotton buds/synthetic brush
Here are the simple steps to achieve this candy coated nails.
Step 1: After thorough cleaning and conditioning of my nails, I painted my nails with a base coat.
Step 2: I used an angled cosmetic sponge and I painted on it my three fave colors, blue, pink and yellow side by side.
Step 3: Afterwards, I dabbed the sponge one by one on my nails. At first the color did not popped so I repeated Steps #2 and #3 until I was satisfied with the color.
Step 4: With a nail polish remover and a cotton bud I carefully cleaned the edges of my nails.
Step 5: I then applied silver glitter polish to act as a sugar to coat my candy-like nails.
Step 6: To finish, I used a fast drying top coat.
I am one of those individuals who are a fan of nail arts. I've seen nail art tutorials on the internet and it just makes me inspired to do all these things on my very own nails.
Thank you for viewing my blog and enjoy reading! :-)
